IN this little volume I have proposed for medita tion the chief miracles, parables, and other incidents and discourses in the Public Life of our Lord. At the head of each meditation I have indicated the passage from the Gospels on which it is based. But lest some should find it inconvenient to refer to it, I have given in each case a short summary of the passage.
