Publisher's Synopsis
An alien race flees their dying world... In search of a world to reestablish their old way of life, the Crulla cross into the zone of The Eight Galaxies. They ignore the welcome of the League of Eight and make their way through the star systems, seeking new worlds where they can harvest the blood of any compatible inhabitants. After a Crulla decimation of a League outpost, the League declares war against the rampaging alien species as it makes its way to the unprotected Sollus system and its one occupied planet, Earth. The League's biggest fleet pursues the Crulla, but the people of Earth have to be their own salvation against a species determined to annihilate them. Will the human race on Earth find their Guardians before it's too late?
