In the wake of increasing tension between the US and Russia from NATO's expansion into Ukraine, supported too by most of the 'collective' West, plus an increase in US aggression towards China over Taiwan, the global situation appears ominous. Since the UK scuppered negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in March 2022, neither side indicates any sign of retreat or attempts to negotiate or to quell tensions. Rather, the opposite - only efforts to 'double-down'. Russians traditionally hold great store on agreements, so when broken or when deceit is used such as with the Minsk accords, all trust built-up over many years is gone. And where does that leave us?

Currently Russia seems to be militarily superior to the West and will almost certainly win in Ukraine. If it were to lose, then Russia fears it would collapse under Western efforts to balkanise and subsequently plunder... Yeltsin's oligarchs and Western oligarchs would turn Russia into a 'wild-east' that would then attempt to march on China.

None of that is likely. Much more likely is something far worse as US neocons, with or without their EU puppets, refuse to accept defeat and react, or develop strategies, that no normal person would ever even contemplate, less still sign-up to
