In 1984, he finished his MBA at the Institute of Management Technology and migrated to the United States in 1986. Winning a sales contest in Dallas earned him a seminar ticket to hear legendary motivator Zig Ziglar. This led him to work for the Zig Ziglar Corporation in 1991 as a telemarketer. He began a steady climb to vice president of training for Ziglar Training Worldwide. He then launched a professional speaking career and has successfully delivered his message of hope, humor, and balance in over fifty countries and throughout the United States. He is a published writer on social and professional issues, and was a contributing author to the book Top Performance written by Zig Ziglar, is the author of From Abstracts to Absolutes, and co-author of Hard Headed and Soft Hearted with Rick Belluzzo.
