Publisher's Synopsis
A who-done-it with major differences. First, the setting is Havana and Havana del Este in 2005 (when Fidel was still very much in charge) written with a sympathetic feel for the time and place. Second, the protagonist is a Cuban woman - a social worker happy with her country, a type of person folks in the United States don't tend to meet. Third, independent of time and place, the characters and plot hold your interest, that is to say, it's a good read. The author, a US native, lived and worked for ten years in Havana.
