Designed for adults and young adults inexperienced in English, the "Take" series covers the language needed for effective communication. The series runs from beginner to intermediate standard.;Each unit focuses on one or two topics that relate directly to students' immediate communication needs, and the language presented - in a structural, functional or lexical context - is generated from the core topic and carefully integrated, so that it remains relevant to the content of the unit and is closely related to the next stage.;The student's book contains 25 units, each of which provides approximately 3 hours class work. Every fifth unit is a consolidation unit which revises and extends the language already covered, presenting it in new contexts. Wordlists are included at each level.
