After yet another failed relationship, twenty-four year old Taylor Forester sets out on a road trip with the intention to reconnect with her family and find a new home to fill the void she blames on her time in Oklahoma. Throughout the course of her fifteen day journey, she reflects on her past-full of times marked by her entrapment in a cult and her desire for approval. Throughout both stories she battles feelings of hopelessness, anxiety, and fear while she searches for the freedom to see the beauty in the land surrounding her and the strength she holds within herself.
