Peter offers he could kill the husband to make up for the past, but Rose is not interested. The husband gets savagely murdered on a remote Florida beach and both the doctor and her patient are charged with the murder and with conspiracy to commit murder. Their overwhelming and well-documented mental struggle to rewrite the past and rectify the mistakes of their youth provides enough evidence to the prosecution and the jurors to send Rose to the death row and Peter to the Florida Institute for the Criminally Insane. Hungarian born engineer, turned fiction writer Larry Serfozo wrote twelve novels and two volumes worth of short stories. Larry lives in Florida and has a townhouse in Darien, Connecticut. He likes to visit New York City where he goes to emigrant gatherings and gets inspiration and ideas for his plots and characters. He aims to reach deep and searches for the true reason that makes people leave the land of their ancestors and start anew.
