Cythiria Crenshaw, Mechanic Class Slave, is a castaway on Var 7, also known as Farth. After the Slipshot was closed, she lost her connection to the Tenddrome when she was a child. Now, nearly ten years later, her early memories are scattered like the shards of a shattered mirror. So, why does she have those two burning scars on her forehead? And why does she feel like she's always fighting to fit into a world that seems so alien to her?
Meanwhile, Rive Amber, Bestiar Class Slave, has devised a plan to return Cythiria to her true origins, whether she wants to or not. To her, Cythiria is the key to the ultimate transformation of Griddish where the Slipshot will finally see its end. But at what cost to Cythiria, Griddish, and the Vars?
