Publisher's Synopsis
A thrilling fight for survival as a plane carrying the American ambassador's wife and teenage daughter crashes deep in the Lebombo mountains of the Kruger National Park in South Africa. A gang of rhino poachers see the plane crash and set out to capture the survivors, but the park's two tough game rangers Zak Stone and Petros Ngidi (you first met them in "Trail of Blood" published on Amazon in February 2018 ) are ordered to rescue the two VIP's at all costs. It becomes a deadly race against time as the two women brave wild animals and the hostile African bush while the two game rangers and their sky dogs (parachuting anti-poaching dogs) try to rescue them. As the political pressure to find the women increases, along with threats to bring in a platoon of US Marines if the women are not found soon, the two rangers and their dogs have the odds stacked against them but are not the types to give up. The women face deadly animals and giant snakes on their trek through the bush until they are rescued by Zak and Petros in a dramatic and explosive gun battle. A terrific sequel to "Trail of Blood" by the same author.
