Publisher's Synopsis

Remembering Rhinos is the follow up to the highly acclaimed Remembering Elephants charity book and the second in the 'Remembering Wildlife' series. Once again the aim of producer wildlife photographer Margot Raggett was to create the most beautiful book on a species ever made and images were donated by 65 of the world's best wildlife photographers. The book features beautiful images of all five extant species of rhino and contributing photographers include Steve Winter, Art Wolfe, Frans Lanting and Michael Poliza. With a foreword by zoologist Mark Carwardine, the book also covers the plight of the Northern White rhino, which is now extinct in the wild. The ambition for the book is, through stunning images of this beautiful creature, to raise awareness of the plight facing rhinos from the poaching and then use sales of the book to raise funds to protect them. All profits from the sale of the book go to rhino protection projects via charity partner The Born Free Foundation. So far more than £165,000 has been distributed to projects in South Africa, Kenya, India and Indonesia.
