Publisher's Synopsis
Rants is a collection of short stories and poems by an eclectic intellectual of the 21st century. The author, Alessandro Hamuche covers a whole range of school of thoughts. He contends it is part of a suggestive philosophy: Mystical Pragmatism. This branch raises questions on how to apply surrealism in everyday life insofar it has a social utility. The work was created while the author struggled with psychosis when travelling through Boston, Los Angeles and Amsterdam and finally treated in Sao Paulo. There are life lessons as well as the author's innermost intentions and feelings ingrained in each work. You can find mini series in Rants: "Opaque", "Sutring", "Dear", the 14 lined poems and the Animals or "Lion" series. There are times when the author borders on political corruption or simply talks about a giant donut. Some content refers to pop history such as the Chelsea Girls in New York or The Who's rock opera. Sometimes he reports frustration, other times overconfidence, other times the Tao Te Ching or even the I Ching.
