Publisher's Synopsis
"What began as a plan to permanently honor Pueblo's four Medal of Honor recipients--William J. 'Bill' Crawford, Army (World War II); Carl L. Sitter and Raymond G. 'Jerry' Murphy, Marines (Korea); and Drew D. Dix, Army (Vietnam)--turned out to be more than a memorial to them. It became a memorial to all Medal of Honor recipients. After a week-long event at which the Medal of Honor memorial was unveiled, a new rallying cry for our community, 'Pueblo, Colorado--Home of Heroes,' became the city's slogan"--Providee by publisher.
