Publisher's Synopsis
This introduction to testing and assessment is designed to be used by those who construct, take and interpret psychological tests. The seventh edition reflects the many notable changes in psychological testing that have occured in the last three years. In addition to updating descriptions of the affective, cognitive and psychomotor instruments that remain important in the field, Aiken describes a number of newer tests that are becoming competitive with the older ones. A greater emphasis on testing applications in various settings has been integrated throughout the text and has also been included as an entirely new chapter.
