This special limited edition large-format publication is dedicated to American artist, Philip Taaffe's paintings from the last 35 years.In the 1970s, Taaffe (b.1955) studied at the Cooper Union in New York under the tuition of Hans Haacke.Starting with the work Martyr Group from 1983 this book presents 45 paintings from various periods of artist's carrier.Other series of works included are, We are not afraid (1985), Quadro Vesuviano (1988), Al Qasbah (1991), Megapolis (1996), Sanctuary (2002), Artificial Paradise (2008) and Sestina (2018).
