Marie Antoinette was fourteen when became the wife of the fifteen-year-old future King of France. She shows her new husband love but he fails to consummate their marriage. Disappointed and apart from social life, she ignores the economic and political crises. She becomes a target of scorn and hatred as they are caught up in the murderous time called "the Terror."
