This is a book of short stories detailing death defying occurrences experienced by the author while hunting the most dangerous game of Africa. These various close calls occurred in different African countries during 40 years of safaris. These stories are reinacted so the reader can experience the drama as if actually present in each situation. The stories are told on the humorous side, yet keeping the focus on the real and tense moments as they happened. Each year experienced people are killed hunting dangerous game in Africa, and many more are seriously injured, including longtime professional hunters. Most "average" hunters are just too afraid and too scared to risk their lives hunting really dangerous game up close. These stories probably will not help their apprehensiveness.
