Growing up as the town freak Sarah Gene Mc Near knew that there had to be a reason why she had been born with the ability to sense the presence of those who had passed on but it wasn't until she grew into an adult that she was able to put her natural gift to use. Along with her team mates at the Lakeside Paranormal Research Group, Sarah used her talent to help those that had no one else to turn to, those that found themselves doubting their own sanity because of the strange happenings in their lives. The L.P.R.G. teams guide these people thru the difficult process of answering the questions and clearing the paranormal infestations that plague their homes. It was on such a case that she crossed paths with Scott Moor. Never believing in ghost or anything supernatural Scott was convinced that he would be able to find the cause of the strange happenings at is home without the help of any 'bead wearing hippies' that were just out to take his money, but when it became evident that his problems couldn't be anything but paranormal in origin he had no choice but to ask for help. When they meet it is evident that they are meant to be together, but forces beyond their control may have different plans. The question is, are the forces that are trying to keep them apart of this world or the next?
