Publisher's Synopsis
Natural Law is the basis for almost the entire ethical thinking of the Catholic Church, as well as being fundamental to human rights legislation and to international law regarding "crimes against humanity" (for instance, the Nuremberg trials and the international war crimes trials in the Hague). Few people, however, understand how this approach works, the history of its development or the tension present between different interpretations of the Natural Law tradition today. This text brings together experts in the field of Natural Law.
