Millennials, also known as Gen Y, represent a population of 18-35 years. They represent the largest demographic group globally, by accounting for 27% of the world's population. India leads the world in terms of the millennial population. The cohort accounts for 34% (440 million) of the country's population. They also represent a whopping 47% of the country's workforce.
