Luca is a creature with seven lives, seven truths, seven days of creation, seven rebirths, seven eye colors, seven vices, seven challenges, and seven gifts. Throughout life, it will have to confront six environmental disasters, each as a different reincarnate being: a plant (a kapok tree in the Amazon rainforest), an animal (a giant panda in China), an ocean (the Gulf of Mexico), a landform (the Harari region in Africa), a mountain (the Sannine mountain in the Middle East), and a layer of the atmosphere (the ozone). This is an ecological story filled with symbolism, poetry, mysticism, humor, and ethical messages that speaks about love and care for the environment, and the relevance of the human race as the center of the universe.
