(Published 1885) Allan Quatermain: The 1887 follow-up, opens with Quatermain burying his son and pining to return to the African wilderness. It is not long before Allan embarks on yet another harrowing and captivating adventure, recounting another of his African journeys which this time culminates in a battle.
