'Kensington Rhymes' is a quaint and whimsical children's book of poetry, by esteemed author Compton Mackenzie. It is from the eyes of a very young boy in Manchester, as he explores the world around him. He encounters dust men, sidewalk chalk artists, and greengrocers. He goes to school, dance lessons, and friend's houses. The boy visits his aunt's house, his favourite pond, and enjoys his summer vacation. The book is accompanied by J.R Monsell's fun illustrations, as well as an author's biography.
