English summary: The introduction to this, the first volume of Part Three, explains the editorial principles of the correspondence volumes. Included is the entire correspondence of Marie Johanne Fichte, nee Rahn and niece of Klopstock, from the day of her marriage to Fichte until his death. This volume is primarily devoted to Fichte's school years and his years as a private tutor. It also includes his correspondence with his fiance Johanne Rahn and his first letters to Kant. Roughly a third of these letters and drafts of letters are here published for the first time, and many others are published in full for the first time. German description: Die Einleitung zu dieser III. Reihe stellt die Editionsprinzipien der Briefbande dar. Von Marie Johanne Fichte, geb. Rahn, einer Nichte Klopstocks, wird die gesamte Korrespondenz vom Tage ihrer Verehelichung mit Fichte bis zu dessen Tode mitaufgenommen. Dieser Band enthalt vor allem die Briefe aus Fichtes Studien- und Hauslehrerzeit, den vorehelichen Briefwechsel mit seiner Verlobten sowie die ersten Briefe an Kant. Circa ein Drittel aller Briefe bzw. Briefentwurfe sind zum ersten Mal, zahlreiche andere erstmals vollstandig veroffentlicht.
