I know you really want to say "thank you for the sumptuous meals, new shoes, and a clean haircut", but I really get it. I can interpret your groaning and grin. Can't still believe I am not talking about teenage driving and girlfriends you have a crush on or have a crush on you. Yes, I am grateful that God gifted you to me. I wouldn't have it another way. I am grateful for the growth. I am grateful for the extra muscle to carry you like a baby. I am grateful for the resilience and patience learned. I have learnt to love unconditionally.
