Preludio Se trata de dos libros en una publicacion, "Jack y Fidel Epoca," que cuenta la historia de John F. Kennedy y Fidel Castro vive, de donde vinieron y sus carreras politicas. Uno sobrevivio y el otro no. Ambos hombres eran Revolucionarios y querian acabar con la discriminacion racial. John Fitzgerald Kennedy, el trigesimo quinto Presidente de los Estados Unidos, fue asesinado a las 12:30 horas, tiempo del centro el viernes 22 de Noviembre de 1963, en la Plaza Dealey, en Dallas, Texas. Kennedy fue baleado fatalmente mientras viajaba con su esposa Jacqueline, el Gobernador de Texas John Connally, y la esposa de este, Nellie, en una caravana Presidencial. Fidel Castro, el hijo ilegitimo de un exitoso dueno de una plantacion de azucar criolla, nacio en Cuba el 13 de agosto de 1926. Era un muchacho rebelde y en la edad de trece anos ayudo a organizar una huelga de trabajadores del azucar (en su mayoria Negro) en la plantacion de su padre. Sus padres eran analfabetos, pero estaban decididos a que sus hijos reciban una buena educacion y Fidel fue enviado a un internado jesuita. Aunque no le gustaba la estricta disciplina de la escuela, Fidel pronto demostro que era muy inteligente. Sin embargo, a excepcion de la historia, el prefiere los deportes de las materias academicas. Fidel era bueno en correr, el futbol y el beisbol, y en 1944 fue galardonado con el premio al mejor deportista de la escuela integral de Cuba. Despues de haber terminado su educacion Castro se convirtio en un abogado en La Habana. Mientras se tendia a tomar los casos de personas pobres (en su mayoria Negros) que no podian permitirse el lujo de pagarle, Castro estaba constantemente escaso de dinero. La experiencia de Castro como abogada le hacia extremadamente critica de las grandes desigualdades de riqueza que existian en Cuba. Al igual que muchos otros Cubanos, Castro se resintio de la riqueza y el poder de los hombres de negocios norteamericanos que comparecieron para controlar el pais. Castro tambien estuvo cerca de la muerte en la carcel. Capitan Pelletier se encargo de poner veneno en la comida de Castro. El hombre se nego y en su lugar puso de manifiesto sus ordenes al pueblo Cubano. Pelletier estaba Corte Marcial, pero, preocupado por la opinion publica mundial, Batista decidio no tener Castro mato.
