Lease OCS G-1569 covers approximately 5,000 acres and is located in South Timbalier Block 185, Gulf of Mexico, off the Louisiana coast. The lease was issued effective July 01, 1967; LL&E became the designated operator of the lease on December 09, 1996. Burlington Resources (Burlington) has assumed operatorship of this lease because of a merger with LL&E; however, MMS records do not reflect Burlington as the designated operator.
