RISKMAN is a comprehensive, documented methodology to support the analysis and management of project risk. It has been developed by a pan-European consortium funded by the European Community through the EUREKA Programme. The consortium members are: Brainware (Greece); Bull (France); CCC (Finland); CR2A (France); Elsyp (Greece); OPL-TT (Spain); Syseca (France); Thompson CSF (France).;This book provides a general overview of the methodology. It gives a background to the RISKMAN initiative, introduces the concept of risk management and describes the RISKMAN approach through the various phases of the method. It then considers how risk management should be applied throughout the life-cycle of a typical project and provides practical guidance on how to implement RISKMAN within a company.
