Publisher's Synopsis

This is the third annual volume in the "Human Rights Law in Africa Series". Subsequent volumes supplement earlier ones: new as well as updated information is provided in later volumes, but instead of reprinting information from earlier volumes that is still relevant, later volumes simply make reference to the availability of that information. In using the series, the reader should consequently start with the list of contents of the last available volume, for a reference to where in the series the information may be found. The series' main objective is to make a contribution towards the greater realization of human rights norms in Africa.
