Publisher's Synopsis
This series looks at examples of different types of food and the stages of production they go through before they are ready for consumption. Food can either come from large farms and factories or small, local places. We can even grow some food ourselves! Where do our fruit, vegetables, grains, and meat come from? By focusing on how oranges, carrots, rice and beef are produced, we can see that the food we eat often has a long journey from farm to fork.
