Publisher's Synopsis

My memoir is a story of development from the time of my birth to the time of adulthood and how playing contact sports requires a mind state, criminal intent, in order for an athlete to complete desired actions within the context of professional sport. My experiences both on and off the field contributed to a series of events that landed me in legal trouble and the effective communication skills I required to get my life back on track and complete my obligation to one day serve in public office in Canada. My dream of becoming the first Indian professional football player may have been cut short but it did not prevent me in growing into the person I am today, even with all the challenges I faced growing up. I hope my story inspires the youth and gives insight to my elders that with perseverance you can accomplish your goals, and although you might not be materially privileged like many others, you can still serve greater society to bring social justice, reform, and equality to the people you represent. I hope you enjoy reading my memoir!
