Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2010 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Altere Deutsche Literatur, Mediavistik, Note: 1,0, Universitat Leipzig (Germanistik), Veranstaltung: Barocklyrik, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: "Ich habe immer schon eine Vorliebe zur Barockliteratur gehabt, eine der reichsten Perioden der Literatur." Gunter Grass' Neigungen fur die Epoche des deutschsprachigen Barocks des 17. Jahrhunderts haben sich vielfaltig in seinem Werk niedergeschlagen. Sie treten jedoch v.a. in der 1979 erschienenen Erzahlung Das Treffen in Telgte hervor. Der Autor versammelt hier eine Gruppe von 21 Dichtern, Verlegern und Komponisten, die besonders fur das Bergen der schief-runden Perlen verantwortlich zeichneten, u.a. bis in die heutige Zeit wirkende Personlichkeiten wie Simon Dach oder Paul Gerhardt. In der nahe Munster gelegenen Stadt Telgte finden sie sich an drei Tagen und Nachten zusammen und lesen einander aus ihren Werken vor. Zwischen Speis und Trank und anderen Vergnugungen sitzen die Poeten des Weiteren bei ausfuhrlichen Diskussionsrunden beisammen, in denen insbesondere der Zustand der deutschen Sprache kritisch hinterfragt und um eine angemessene Dichtung gerungen wird. Schlielich wird unter den Eindrucken des Dreiigjahrigen Krieges nach einigen Formulierungsgefechten ein Friedensmanifest aufgesetzt, welches jedoch mit ihrer Unterkunft in Flammen aufgehen wird. Diese Arbeit beschaftigt sich mit der Darstellung dieser Barockdichter. Welche Einflusse hat Gunter Grass in der Zeichnung seiner Figuren untergebracht? Auf welche Quellen hat er sich gestutzt und mit welchen Strategien hat er sie in "Das Treffen in Telgte" eingeflochten? Eine Auseinandersetzung mit allen auftretenden Personen ware sicherlich vermessen, insofern soll die Konzentration hier nur drei Figuren gelten, die jedoch fur die Erzahlung von besonderer Bedeutung sind.
