Publisher's Synopsis
The author tells the progressive breakdown of Edith which gains momentum but it ends hastily in the middle of her trivial life. Edith lives with her uncle and his evil son in a little house of Pennsylvania. Slowly and unavoidable, she refugees in her own diary and creates a fantasy world totally different from reality. The end is more subtle, intense, more terrifying than a murder.
