This book presents the true stories of three abused women. In each case, the current outcome of a lifetime of abusive experiences is depicted. In most part, much of their reactions were in many respects almost predictable outcomes to the realization they were victimized by men who had little regard or respect for women. In each case, bitterness and regret lingered and limited the emotional development of the victims, and in each case different survival tactics were adopted to permit them to function as well as possible in a challenging and demanding world.
