SCHOLASTIC LITERACY SKILLS provides context-based tasks to help children to practise and improve their spelling, comprehension, grammar and punctuation skills. COMPREHENSION AGES 5-7 is a bumper book of photocopiable comprehension tasks for children aged 5-7. Divided into three sections: for ages 4-5, 5-6 and 6-7, the book contains 80 units of texts plus questions. The texts cover the genre range that children in these age groups are expected to encounter and include poetry, stories, playscripts plus non-fiction genres such as recount, report, and instructions.
