Publisher's Synopsis
Diversity and inclusion are necessary for almost any organization that would want to be relevant or significant in the modern world, believes Salvation Army leader and pastor Raphael Jackson. In this academic project, Jackson defines inclusion as the action by which a group of people, having diverse, backgrounds, origins, age, ethnic backgrounds, cultural differences, or identities, are socially accepted and treated equally. In his research, he studies how inclusion impacts the life of a small church in a transitional neighborhood in regards to both longtime and new members.
