Caleb Wethersson and his brother, Cadence, have lived on Isla's Bay for as long as they could remember. Out in the heart of the Western Sea, they have known nothing but peace and freedom, schooled by their Aunt Melody and taught how to hunt and fish by their guardian, Blaise. However, recent rumors of a possible raid on their island town by a ruthless ogre clan has the villagers on edge.
Meanwhile, the boys await a visit from Sir Alvard, Knight of the King's Court and Blaise's oldest friend who has some mysterious prior connection to the two brothers. Little do they know, they are both about to endure hardships neither could have ever dreamed of, as Cadence is swept from his home and both Caleb and Blaise embark across the vast Sea to rescue him...
