One of the last of a dying breed of hardened police officers - tough on crime, no tolerance for anything that interfered with his ability to do the job (not including the four pints of lager with whisky chasers at lunch, the regular morning hangovers or the severe desperation he had at all times for a cigarette) unable to hear a suspect's confession as he beats them with a phone book in the throws of DT exacerbated nicotine withdrawal... PC Maclean, a bobby with his heart in the right place, finds himself caught up in a murderous dispute between gangsters, drug dealers and contract killers in his attempt to catch the eponymous murderer. All the while starring in some art student's documentary about police in a small town where nothing happens. Guns, blood and booze, exploding heads, car chases, drugs, explosions, hairy, naked man-arses and ice cream. And poo. Lots of poo.
