The Civil War is raging throughout the South, as tough teamster Frio Wheeler figures to haul cotton from Texas into Mexico. But Wheeler has more serious matters to contend with as his wagons are attacked, his cotton bales are burned, he is captured and tortured by banditos, and is betrayed by his best friend.
