The book covers the highs and lows of the restaurant experience dealing with customers and locals, the hot summers, the dreaded winters, the regular muggings and the good and bad nights and provide a true account of my 18 months in Spain. The final chapters cover my decision to return to the UK and go back to a normal life but the scars will remain forever.
