Writing has always been a valued form of expression and communication for Pat Rose. Upon retirement from the Chesterfield County school system, she wrote, self-published, and taught in numerous workshops a fiction adventure childrens novel entitled Spirit of Blackfoot Country. She has published non-fiction article(s) in Fun For Kidz, Madison, and Pleasant Living Magazine. Anchored In America is her first memoir. Residing in Midlothian, Virginia, she enjoys tennis, travel, and leading docent tours at the Virginia Historical Society. Her greatest joy is interaction with her family and her seven grandchildren.
