Publisher's Synopsis
Making a difference in people's lives has been a central theme in Malcolm Linsell's life. His parents and grandparents were Salvation Army officers so whilst his family was poor, he was raised in an environment of love, compassion and trust. As a toddler, both his hands were burned in an accident. At the age of 13, a plastic surgeon released a burns scar contracture on his hand and unknowingly inspired Malcolm to become a plastic surgeon himself. Here, Malcolm shares the lessons he has learned over his career and the story behind his relationship with Wesley, a young boy from Papua New Guinea who he has helped through his work.
