There was a period, fellow-citizens, when the proud emo tions of this day, were not mingled with one uncongenial feeling. With the first ray of morning light, every eye awoke to pleasure, eyery bosom expanded with joy. No nu hallowed doubt, dared to intrude itself on our sacred joy. But have we not heard an orator in a sister state exclaim.
