I have, therefore, taken advantage of a course which enables me to give you some information of a local historical character; interesting I trust, and at the same time permits me making use of material which I have been accumulating during the past five years.
A man is said to be all the better for having a hobby, provided he does not ride his hobby to the detriment of himself or his friends. Now, among other weaknesses, I plead guilty to the charge of being a lover of books, particularly those possessing local interest.
