She holds professional memberships with the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and Association of Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialists (ACDIS). She holds a master's in health administration (MHA), master's in project management (MPM) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Health Care Administration.
