Following their adventures in Scotland earlier in 1905 the pair are sent off to the States as part of a deal between their boss, Admiral Fisher and his US counterpart, Admiral of the Navy George Dewey.For the newly promoted Commander Philip Carver and Leading Gunner William Banan it seems like the ideal assignment. They get to cross the Atlantic on a luxury liner, cosset themselves in a suite in one of Washington's top hotels, and take in the sights and a baseball game. On top of that Banan is looking to redeem himself and reunite with his sister.
