Publisher's Synopsis
It's simple and obvious to say that our choices impact the trajectory of our lives. But couldn't this saying go even further than that? That the consequences of our choices and the regrets that follow those choices make up the bulk of our lives? I think so. I believe when we make the right choices, we will be living more harmoniously with God and with others.
That means that our choices and the consequences that come from those choices are crucial to pleasing God. That is why I have chosen to write Choices, Consequences and Regrets: The Story of Jonah. Jonah made choices that brought about consequences that provide principles useful for us to consider today. When we learn to be obedient and want to follow His guiding ways, we please Him the most, and that is when we are empowered to do more for Him. So again, it all comes down to choice. Will you, like the main example in this book, Jonah, choose all the wrong things, throwing you into tougher travels than obedience would? Or will you bow to your Father's will and do as He says right from the beginning?
