INTRODUCTION
1.1 NEED FOR WSN AND APPLICATIONS
Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) has replaced traditionally wired
networks, with their high scalability and flexibility. WSN has reduced cabling costs and maintenance overheads, hence it is comparatively cheaper. WSN is the widely preferable choice for distributed data gathering, because of its simple installation, and mobility-compatible nature. WSNs are applied in numerous industrial (Gungor et al 2009), commercial (Sandhu et al 2004 domestic (Hussain et al 2009), and environmental sensing (Li et al 2008) applications
