Admiral Mustard, leader of the Galactium Navy, has control of the largest military force in the galaxy, with a planet stronghold to boot, but what he lacks is an enemy to use them on. When a mysterious message for the admiral starts playing in the minds of those close to him, and a sinister cloud that dissolves fleets entirely threaten to engulf the galaxy, Mustard might have more on his hands than he bargained for. In bed with their new allies, the Chosen, (in more ways than one) humanity must learn what exactly this new threat is before they can figure out how to defeat it. Might it have something to do with a time-travel escapade that by definition could never have happened? And might the Brakendethians be less defeated than previously thought? Admiral Mustard is up for a big fight, both internal and external.
