Publisher's Synopsis
Before Castle's Last Stand the war began in Miami Florida. Follow the depths of a twisted feud between two brothers Ramone and Rexon Battle as they struggle to escape each other's wrath. Ramone seeks wealth and a possible truce between his enemies to divide businesses in hope of common ground. Rexon finds himself driven with a vindictive personality and hatred for his family and others that stand against him. After years of encountering brutal gun fights and bloodshed the brothers soon realize that their neck-and-neck on the battle field. Ramone soon finds himself outnumbered with Rexon's psychopathic crew of henchmen causing him to slowly slip out of the picture. To keep from checking out Ramone strikes deals with rival gangs and finds a solution to his problems. Rexon answers right back by raising the stakes. The Punisher follows the war to Chicago. When he digs deeper under the surface, he is faced with much more than he expected. Walter Conrad and his men are soon forced out from hiding when Frank Castle brings Cage into the picture. After shaking things up Castle learns that the Battle brothers were never the real threat in the beginning. Other friends rush to Castle's aid and they stand together to face Conrad and the Battle brothers once and for all. In the end they're left with a message and warned of sinister plots that had already been set into motion.
